Ala Moana

Yesterday was the most interesting day I have had this whole break. I woke up at 6:20 A.M. and got ready for an exciting, fun-filled, FOOD day at our own ALA MOANA :) It was also going to be my very first time on the bus, so I was pretty excited about that as well.

Unfortunately, the morning started out rainy, cloudy and dark. Not a very fun way to start the day, but I was hopeful that the rain would stay in Mililani, like how it usually does.

Anyway, I came to the Transit Center, and found K.S. waiting patiently for the rest of us to come. She's always been an early riser anyway, so we sat and wait for others to show up.

The early bus came, but since we were the only two there, we decided to skip it and wait for everyone else. H.H, M.C, D.H, D.B, and D.L came later on, in that order, so we looked a lot like this:

D.B felt tired from that awesome performance on Thursday night :(

M.C had this really cool dollar by the way. I felt like I should share it with the awesome people who read my blog ^_^

D.H examining this awesome dollar and checking its validity

In any case, the bus came soon afterwards, and we boarded. I was super excited to be on it, and I could hardly contain my excitement (actually I could). I could have sang (not really), but I satsified myself instead with reading the ads on the bus, and watching the scenery. In case you were wondering, it rained.

Sadly, my feet could not touch the ground :( Oh well.

We arrived at Ala Moana a whole HOUR before any store opened, so we walked around aimlessly for a while.

D.L led us for most of the way, like so.

I dragged everyone into the first Saint-Germain's bakery I saw, and purchased a delicious curry fry. I swear, it was the best thing I had ever tasted that was fried. In fact, it was so good, I bought another one to enjoy at Fall Fair.

Sorry, no picture for you :( I ate both before I realized that I should have taken a picture for all to enjoy in my blog. But if you really think about it, you wouldn't have enjoyed that picture, would you? I mean, that would just make you sad that you weren't eating a curry fry yourself!

Photobucket
We walked around for a while. The sky did not look sunny. I was getting sad.

We did stumble upon a part of Ala Moana I had never seen before though. This store was pretty good. It had nice jackets. If I hadn't eaten all I had, I would have spent all my money on one of them. K.S and I also stumbled upon a familiar store:

For those of you who went on the Boston Orlando trip, I think you'll remember this as the $200 a skirt store. Haha. Obviously we did not step foot in there.

It began nearing opening time, so we walked to Shirokiya, where we would greet the day with croquettes, ramune

and very flattering windows!!

We explored more, but D.B, K.S and I split ninja-style from the group and had our own adventure in Ruehl No.925
Photobucket
where we sat on their many couches, beds and chairs and took a lot of pictures in their many mirrors, like so

and Nordstrom.
Photobucket
We did not vary much from our pattern.

Photobucket
K.S and I did play with $200 glasses. They were very pretty :)

We met up with the other half of the group to eat Gelato. I had green tea and mint chocolate chip. I was very pleased with myself for choosing two good flavors :)
Photobucket
I don't remember ever taking this picture, but here it is anyway
Photobucket
One thing I was confused about, though, was the fact that the lingerie section was right next to the children's shoes. It was weird. So we left quickly.

I'm getting tired of describing my whole Friday to you, so I will just put pictures with a brief description.
We ate at Donburiya right after gelato. I had unagi don
Photobucket
Sorry it's blurry :( I was just that excited to eat it

Photobucket
I could not figure out the pattern in this. Help me?

Photobucket
D.H, K.S and I had another mini adventure in LeSportsac. That mirror was not as awesome as that one store's window, though.

Our group wandered into La Palme d'Or, where I had a delicious Coffee Jelly Au Lait with milk (yes I remembered the name :) It was that good)
Photobucket
and a Gateau Choclat
Photobucket
It was too sweet for me :(

Our group was slowly shrinking, and soon, only D.L, M.C and I were left. We went back to Shirokiya to buy mochi ice cream
Photobucket
I had tiramisu and creme brulee :)
Photobucket
takoyaki
Photobucket
mochi cream (i had a sakura flavored one)
Photobucket
and CANDY :)

Ala Moana day was coming to a close though, so our group caught a bus back home for Fall Fair. It wasn't that busy, which was good because I was exhausted from that day. I don't remember a lot that happened. Except that I was forced to be entertained at the Anime Club's booth. I ended the night happily with two face paintings :) one by C.N
Photobucket
and one by G.L :)
Photobucket

All in all, a very good day :) I'm happy I got to go, and it was awesome, despite the rain and cloudiness (actually, I really liked it at night).

And this just wouldn't be my blog, if I didn't show you a random picture :)
(This is my future Winterball dress by the way :D)

You have so many pictures. *.*
Lol, the dollar bill looks better on your camera. I miss that mirror. I want to buy one like that for my room, so I always look 10 pounds skinnier.
Having the lingerie next to the kids section is wierd. XD
Hmm, it spells DONOD horizontally and vertically. As the rows go down, I think they add the next letter of DONOD on it. So it would be DONOD, then add an O so it is ODONO, then add a N so it is NODON, then add a O so it is ONODO, then add a D so it is DONOD again. IDK, does that make sense? That's maybe right.
Now I'm all hungry again. XD But unfortunately for me, my wallet is a lot skinnier.
That's a nice winter ball dress. :D
