spring break thoughts

i'm disappointed to say so, but ever since reading (actually reading) those annoyingly fat APUSH chapters, i've been connecting the events that happen today to the things that happened in the past. i can't tell if this is a blessing or a curse :(

but more importantly than that, i've been connecting strange things together. mostly it was the total involvement our government has in our lives today, but now, i've been thinking about social problems like how society discriminates, thinks and acts today. i wonder why we are so prejudiced against people who are different than us, and why people seem to be born with a need to hate.

but anyway...i don't think blogs are supposed to be this deep. but those are my thoughts. i have LOADS more, but i think the list would be too long to write x) i should find things that will occupy more of my time...

Halloween//Carol's Birthday

I have to say, Halloween this year was pretty darn bitchin' :) I didn't go trick-or-treating, but I did celebrate a friend's birthday :D

Left for Jacob's house at 6-ish, and got there early. The party began after Grace and Eleanor came. It was bitchin' like I said earlier. Why is it bitchin' and not awesome? Well...

Since this week was kind of weird, I think I will talk about my weekend :D

On Saturday I went to a Pre-Conference for Secondary Student Conference (SSC). What is SSC? Look it up on Google foo! That day, I went to Pre-Con and slept. Literally. Fell asleep at 4 PM and woke up at 4 AM.


On Sunday, I went to eat at the Original Pancake House somewhere in town. I ate an asparagus omelette :) It was good. How good? Like no homework on a Wednesday kind of good.


Went to watch my niece at some cheerleading thing. Yeah, sorry Mililani, I supported Kailua...oh well.

Went to Ala Moana after that and had another awesome Jelly Au Lait. Mother bought some Godiva Chocolate. I could have died happily.

Went to Serteens after that.

That's What You Get

This week has been a good week :] The weather has been indescribably nice, and I just can't help but spend a few minutes outside each day. It's just that nice, you know?

A few days ago, I carved a pumpkin. It was diseased, small and had all the bad qualities of an unsavable one, but don't worry. S.N, H.H, L.H and I saved it :D

It was just that happy.

I went to Starbucks one day, and got a mocha frappacino. Coffee really isn't good for me :( This was the first variation of my name I've seen in my entire life

I don't want to say 'epic fail', but...

Anyway today was Mole Day! I didn't take a picture of my mole, but that's ok, because I have a bunch of others that I did take pictures of :D

After school, I went straight to C106, or Mr. Kikugawa's room to study for my trigonometry test with A.M, M.C, G.L, M.S and J.Y. It was productive for a while, like so

actually, that was a lie, since M.S kept cracking jokes and making my books and pencils fall all over the place. Here is what they were doing

PSAT, Starbucks, Ice Palace Galore

Yesterday was very enjoyable, despite the PSAT test that took a good 3 hours of my time ><. Woke up at 6:30 A.M and went to Longs to buy some SmartWater. It was all right, I think I like the bottle a lot more than the water though.


It had a fish on it!!

Anyway, after the test, I went with a few friends (ok, maybe a lot of friends) to Genki Ramen to celebrate the end of PSAT. There were mixed reviews on the test; some of my friends loved the math and hated the reading, some adored reading and hated math, some hated writing, liked the reading and tolerated the math, and some just hated it altogether.

The talk about PSAT disappeared, however, when our food came. I bought a big plate of chicken fried rice. I was very happy :D

After, we migrated to Wal-Mart, where G.L and I found these extremely comfortable boots.


They were very warm ^_^

We went to Starbucks, and Michelle and I ordered hot chocolates.

After hanging at Starbucks for a while, and seeing my friend N.M, G.L, D.L and I went to Star to mooch samples. I had the blue cheese...and I don't want to talk about it. The brie cheese made up for the blue cheese's horridness, but...

Later that night, I joined this one club to go ice skating. It was fun, except for the ticket that said...

that scared me a bit.

I was a little apprehensive about the skates too. I didn't believe my feet could fit in this

but amazingly, they did o___O

I ventured out on the ice and began skating. It was fun ^_^ I only fell once.

Yes, that pretty much sums up my Saturday. It had an epic test, epic food, and epic pictures. Want an example? BAM!
